Wanna know the secret to lush hair?

Moisturizer!

Not just any moisturizer, a hair moisturizer. Specially formulated to provide your hair with moisture, hydration and protection. Much like a leave-in conditioner, hair moisturizers help to smooth frizz, detangle and assist with styling your look as well as supplying hair with a boost of vitamins and antioxidants.

You may consider this the Swiss army knife of your hair regime and who are we to argue?

It might seem obvious but with the myriad of treatments and styling products available, hair moisturizer tends to slink into the back of our bathroom cupboard without a second thought - when really, it's the perfect combination of a conditioning treatment and styling prep all in one luxurious cream, lotion, spray or serum.

WHO SHOULD USE HAIR MOISTURIZER?
Everyone! If you have hair then it's for you, regardless of your hair type. Of course, they are not all created equally so check out our suggestions for your hair type below.

TARGETED RELIEF
Using a moisturiser doesn’t mean ditching your conditioner. A conditioner will restore the integrity of the surface of your hair from roots to ends. It’s an important step in your wash routine. Adding a moisturiser to your daily ritual allows you to target areas of your hair that need a little extra help without weighing down or overdosing on the healthy bits.

HOW TO USE ONE?
There are a couple of different ways to reap the benefits of your new hair moisturizer. It can be used to hydrate parched hair when it needs extra nourishment, applied prior to heat-styling to provide added protection to your strands or as a primer to your regular styling regime for the added benefits of vitamins and antioxidants, plus all the other good stuff.

  • Smooth it through damp or towel-dried hair, focusing on the mid-lengths to ends, continue styling as usual
  • If your hair has seen better days, give it a spritz with h2o before bed and massage your hair moisturizer through your hair to let it work its magic while you rest.
  • Disperse through your hair using your hands or a wide-tooth comb
  • Don't rinse it out ;)
