Pixie Cut Obsession

The Pixie Cut has a rebellious past with an iconic Fanclub and quite the story to tell.

From that memorable scene on the silver screen with Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday (1953) the iconoclast Pixie Cut quickly became a symbol of empowerment, new beginnings and freedom. With the 1960s came ideas of gender fluidity and the look was catapulted further into popular culture, as seen on Twiggy and Mia Farrow in Rosemary's Baby - still a major reference today, imo.

From then, like most trends, it comes and goes from the spotlight, weaving its way through It Girls and movie stars of the 90s; Chloë Sevigny, Winona Ryder and Halle Berry, snapping back at beauty ideals with their own individualistic styles.

Today, we love to see a fresh take on the iconic Pixie Cut, in all its forms and colours. We hope you enjoy our ode to the Pixie Cut, and if you like what you see, don't be afraid to embrace the change!
