Weaving nature into beauty was the hair story for Untouched World's New Zealand Fashion Week show.

"I wanted to reflect the brand's deep respect for natural fibres, so I approached the hair from that same perspective," says colleen founder Lauren Gunn.

Braids and knotting became a way to echo the natural weave of fabrics featured in the collection, creating a look that felt both textural and timeless.

With Untouched World's 30-year heritage, there was a quiet sophistication too – nothing overdone, just elegant restraint. As a fellow B Corp company, Davines was the obvious partner, with the More Inside No Gas Spray enhancing and amplifying the hair's natural texture and movement while keeping everything soft, touchable and true to Untouched World's relaxed ethos.

YOU WILL NEED:

• Davines Oi All In One Milk
• Davines More Inside No Gas Spray
• Davines More Oi Oil
• Elastic bands and bobby pins

STEP ONE

Distribute Oi All In One Milk throughout the hair and blow dry in sections, beginning at the nape and finishing with a centre part for a smooth frizz-free finish.

STEP TWO

Section hair from the centre part down to the nape. Use a generous amount of More Inside No Gas Spray and brush into two sleek ponytails low at the base of the nape.

STEP THREE

Braid each ponytail to the tips using Oi Oil to lubricate and secure with an elastic band. Tie the braids together in a knot. Slide bobby pins along the scalp and through the braid to hold the look together.

PRO TIP

Use a flat iron to straighten the tips of the braids for the final touch.
