Glam has taken a sinister turn lately, have you noticed? While we consume content filled with AI and digital culture, movies full of sci-fi body horror and gothic romance, the beauty trends can't help but follow. Gore, slime, goo, SFX and extreme prosthetics are the new kit essentials and we're intrigued. Bodies are seen used as canvases to morph and distort rather than alter to perfection. Imperfections are now the central point of glam, something to celebrate rather than hide.
Trends in 2026 look to exaggerate features, make them bizarrely striking. The phobia of standing out amongst the crowd has vanished. If you're a born exhibitionist looking to shake up your everyday glam but feeling stuck on inspiration, hang tight. These looks are not for the faint hearted. They're made for those who have a flair for the bizarre. Fit for dramatised editorials, a theatrical runway, or the isle of your local supermarket.
